Taking Action - Overcoming Fear

Many people discount themselves even before they get started!

Once there was a very poor man that prayed to God every night.

He would kneel outside his shelter and ask the Lord, "Please let me win the lottery!" Without fail, he would perfom the same prayer night after night before he goes to sleep.

One night, when he was at the lowest point in his life, he cried out "I have been true to you my Lord, why won't you answer my prayers?"

Then there was this booming voice from the heavens.

"Evans, why won't you meet me halfway! Go buy a lottery ticket!"


Many of us are afraid to take action because of Fear - Fear of Failure, Fear of Uncertainty, Fear of the Unknown, Fear of Other People's Comments.

My belief is simply - Just Do It!

The fears will wither up and die when we take action, when we take the first step towards our goals.

But sometimes, it is easier said than done. This is when you need a Friend, someone that you trust and can count on to hold your hand when you take the first step.

When you have found that someone, treasure him or her.
